Payment within 15 days of receipt of invoice by debit or credit card, direct bank transfer, cheque via a pro forma invoice or cash.
All postal methods are tracked and / or signed for to confirm delivery. Unfortunately IR Bridles cannot accommodate visits to the workshop.
Any customs clearance and duties payable by non-EU buyers remain the responsibility of the buyer.
All goods are sold subject only to consumer legislation in force at the time in the UK. We cannot take responsibility for the actions of Customs or Border Control at the country of receipt.
All items (except bespoke items) are covered by the “Distance Selling Regulations”. You are entitled to a refund of the purchase price if you decide to change your mind and inform us within seven days of receipt of your purchase. In these circumstances, return postage, packing and insurance costs remain with you, the buyer. Unless the item is faulty, IR Bridles cannot accept returns on bespoke or items that have been personalised via stamping.
Further to this, we will give a full refund (inc. return P&P) if the item you receive is faulty or “significantly not as described” by us, where you inform us within seven days of receipt of the item and where we confirm that the issue is genuine. (This will usually apply in the unlikely event that we have sent you the wrong colour, size or product). Please note the points regarding natural materials and variations, below.
In either case, any refund requires that the item is returned as supplied (with all tags, extras, packaging etc) and in original sound condition.
Any customs duties paid by non-EU buyers remain the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded by IR Bridles.
Leather is a natural material and slight differences in shade/colour from the traditional tanning processes sometimes occur from batch to batch.
Small scars and growth marks from the life of the animal do occur and are considered as normal and implicit in the item description. We always work to conceal scars but growth marks often form an attractive feature.
Every effort has been made to photograph our products as naturally as possible and colours have been checked on a calibrated monitor (screen) before publishing. However, different monitors and resolutions can and do show colours and light differently in shade or tone and IR Bridles cannot be held responsible for this.
All our products, being handmade, will be slightly different. Each item is made to order and will be fashioned according to any peculiarities in the hides used (see above) or, of course, accounting for an individual customer’s requests. While every effort is made to match product pictures precisely, small differences will occur.
This makes each item unique and is not considered as constituting “significant difference” from item descriptions unless differing significantly from specifications given in communications pertaining to a specific sale.
IR Bridles reserves the right to decline any order placed with us at our discretion.
Your IR Bridle is guaranteed for twelve months against material or workmanship faults. In the extremely unlikely event that either of these occurs, please contact us to begin resolution of the issue. We reserve the right to repair, replace or refund at our discretion. If postage is necessary, the costs will be covered by us where shipping method and costs are approved by us first.
Should your product require repair or refurbishment throughout its life, we will undertake the work for a modest fee. Please contact us to make arrangements. In these circumstances, any postage costs remain with you, the customer.
Your guarantee is your proof of purchase (your receipt or similar document). Please keep them in a safe place. IR Bridles keeps measurement records which can be referred to in case of loss of all of the above.
Due to the bespoke and individual nature of the bridles, please allow up to six weeks for making and dispatch. However, we always aim to have your bridle on its way to you as quickly as possible.
In the event of any delay, we promise to maintain positive communications with you, our customer.
