I am fully qualified with the Society of Master Saddlers as a Master Bridle Maker and Qualified Bridle Fitter with over 20 years experience as well being registered with the Equine Fitters Directory.

I am available to measure your horse within around 90 minutes of travelling time from my base in Chipping Sodbury.

During the visit, I will carry out an inspection on the horse's head for symmetry and anomalies which may affect the fit of the bridle. I will discuss any requirements which arise from the inspection. I carry a range of samples that can be tried on and ridden in if necessary.

During the visit, I'll fit a trial bridle to your horse and take detailed photos. Back at my workshop, I'll use these resources to create your new bespoke bridle.

Once the new bridle is ready, I bring it back out to make sure it is correct, which is optional although is recommended.

What if I cannot visit you in person?

I do have a range of trial bridles available to post out for a deposit (which can be paid here), to measure with and to try different designs. I then use these photos of the bridle on the horse and the bridle itself, to alter any measurements necessary to make your new bridle.

For international clients where neither of the above are possible, you can use your existing bridle for the photos and my online measuring form which guides you through measuring.

Have your bridle handmade how you like it as well as optimising the fit for the comfort for your horse.

Bespoke IR Bridles start at £270 for a plain hunter snaffle bridle and increase depending on style and design choices.

Initial consultation £40 within 10 miles plus 45p per mile thereafter.
